Ameriprise Financial Services (AMP) beats third-quarter earnings and revenue estimates


Ameriprise Financial Services (AMP) posted quarterly earnings of $6.43 per share, beating Zacks consensus estimate of $5.82 per share. That compares to earnings of $5.91 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 10.48%. A quarter ago, this financial services company was expected to post a profit of $5.73 per share when it actually produced a profit of $5.81, delivering a surprise 1.40 %.
