Clarion Partners supports the next generation of real estate investment management business leaders with NAREIM


NORTHAMPTON, MA/ACCESSWIRE/October 24, 2022/ NAREIM, the industry association dedicated to real estate investment management, announced this month its 2022-2023 class of Jeff Barclay Scholars.

Named after the late Jeff Barclay, former Chairman of NAREIM, Managing Director and Head of Acquisition of Clarion Partners, and Head of Goldman Sachs Real Estate Group, the NAREIM Jeff Barclay Fellowship Program aims to identify and develop the next generation real estate investment management. leaders through a unique learning and networking opportunity.

The five members of this year’s cohort are:

  • Annie Yan Bailey, Columbia University. Annie is an MS Real Estate Development candidate from Columbia University, 2023. She graduated from Cooper Union with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. She has 18 years of experience as an architect and was an associate partner at Pei, Cobb, Freed and Partners.

  • Rahul Raipelly, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Rahul is currently pursuing the MSRED program at the Center for Real Estate, MIT with over 10 years of experience in the advisory role in real estate fundraising in India. Over the years, he has gained expertise in financing transactions across the capital stack in sectors such as real estate, hotels, hospitals, infrastructure and renewable energy.

  • Victoria Reznik, North West. Victoria is a JD/MBA student at Northwestern. Her goal is to specialize in commercial real estate as a lawyer. She received a 2023 summer internship offer from Sidley Austin LLP. His long-term goal is to get involved at the intersection of blockchain and commercial real estate (PropTech).

  • Jackie Siegmund, New York University. Jackie is a second-year MBA student at New York University’s Stern School of Business, where she is pursuing majors in real estate and finance. Jackie is Co-Chair of the Stern Real Estate Club. She spent her summer interning in multifamily acquisitions at Kennedy Wilson in Los Angeles and the last semester in acquisitions and asset management at Gramercy Property Group.

  • Guillaume Zordani, University of Wisconsin-Madison. William is a Master of Science candidate in Real Estate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in two applied learning tracks: Real Estate Private Equity (REPE) and Applied Real Estate Investment Track (AREIT). He currently works as a student ambassador for the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate, and was a summer intern at JLL Capital Markets in Chicago.
