For early-career professionals looking to break into investment banking, there’s no better way than an internship with a large firm on Wall Street or City.
Despite the often long hours, the opportunity to gain first-hand experience working with senior bankers, and hopefully a full-time job offer at a major global bank, means the application process is extremely competitive.
While many banks have stopped accepting applications for this summer, some deadlines remain open. Here is a list of some in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Africa that are still accepting applications.
Summer Analyst Program, EMEA
The deadline for 2022 applications within the bank closed in November 2021 but applications for investments within the engineering division of Goldman, closing January 30, 2022.

Applications for summer 2022 are currently open in a number of locations.
EMEA out-of-cycle programs
Applications are open on an ongoing basis for three to six month internships in locations around the world.
Applications for the most part, summer internships in investment banking are currently closed but remain open for a number of divisions.
The bank also offers several pre-internships for people from generally under-represented backgrounds, whose applications close between January 14 and 22, 2022.
There are limited internship opportunities within the Institutional Securities Group of the bank and in the management of investments:

Applications close on January 11, 2022.
2022 Investment Banking Associate Summer Program, London
A 10 week internship. Application closes January 24, 2022.
Off-cycle internship in quantitative finance, London
Applications closes on January 31, 2022.
2022 Quantitative trader, Off-cycle internship, London
Application closes February 28, 2022.
Off-cycle internships in sales and commerce are also open for internships in Milan, Frankfurt, Madrid and Paris

The German bank offers a number of analyst internship opportunities within its investment banking division in London and across Asia on a sliding deadline.

Global Investment Banking Associate Summer Program, London
Deadline closes January 19, 2022.
The bank has a similar program based in Frankfurt, which is open to international applications.
Global Africa Summer Internship Program, London
Time limit vary by location.

Jefferies always takes applications for the Investment Bank 2022 summer analyst programs in New York, Boston and North Carolina, within its Automotive Aftermarket group and its technology services group.
Applications also remain open for a range out-of-cycle internships in London, Amsterdam and Madrid. Some have language requirements.
Summer Analyst Program, Investment Banking Chief Operating Office, New York
The application the deadline is January 31, 2021.
Citigroup is still accepting applications within its Banking, Capital Markets and Consulting group, in New York, Houston and a number of sites in Europe.
Summer Analyst Program, EMEA
Roles in multiple locations are still open. It is generally an eight-week internship between June and August 2022.
EMEA, Out-of-cycle internship program
Applications are still accepted for four to six month internships in Munich and Frankfurt.
Applications are still accepted for summer internships with investment bank Barclays for partner and analyst roles in 2022. US-based internships are in Houston, LA, New York, Chicago and San Mateo.
Investments in the UK are in London for banking analysts and capital markets analysts. The bank has multiple opportunities across Europe and the Middle East, but there are language requirements.
The bank always accepts applications for its EMEA cycle banking analyst programs.
