BOSTON, November 15, 2021 / CNW / – Manulife Investment Management today announced that it has completed aligning its private markets business under the global brand of Manulife Investment Management. This complements a multi-year strategy aimed at more formally grouping all wealth and institutional asset management companies under the Manulife Investment Management brand.

Recent actions include unifying the capabilities of the company’s real assets under Christoph schumacher, who joined the firm in May 2021 as Global Head of Real Assets for Manulife Investment Management and CEO of Manulife Investment Management Timberland and Agriculture Inc. Industry veterans and longtime employees Thomas G. Sarno and Oliver S. williams, CFA, Global Heads of Forestry and Agriculture, respectively, report to Christoph and will continue to provide strategic leadership for these asset classes.
