SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Morgan Stanley (NYSE:) on Friday named Alessandro Zema as co-head of Latin America investment banking, a position he will share with Jaime Martinez-Negrete, according to a statement.

Zema will remain at the helm of Brazil, while managing director Fabio Medeiros will assume the role of local head of investment banking.

Marilia Carvalho Quinlivan, who has been with Morgan Stanley for 15 years, has been named chief operating officer for Latin America.
