Waters announces November committee schedule


Today,MP Maxine Waters (D-CA)Chair of the House Committee on Financial Services, announced the following schedule for the month of November:

  • Tuesday, November 15 at 10 a.m. ET: The Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development, and Insurance will convene for a hybrid hearing titled, “Persistent Poverty in America: Addressing Chronic Disinvestment in the Colonies, U.S. Territories, and Black Belt.” from South “.
  • Tuesday, November 15 at 2 p.m. ET: The Subcommittee on Investor Protection, Entrepreneurship and Capital Markets will convene for a hybrid hearing titled “Investing in Our Rivals: Examining U.S. Capital Flows to Foreign Rivals and adversaries in the world”.
  • Wednesday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. ET: The full committee will convene for a hybrid hearing titled “Oversight of Prudential Regulators: Ensuring Safe, Sound, Diverse and Accountable Deposit-Taking Institutions.”

Due to the latest information available regarding COVID-19, hybrid hearings will take place at 2128 Rayburn House Office Building and will also have a virtual option for all MPs and witnesses to participate remotely.
